Hi, my name is Helen, and I'm a small in-home hobby breeder of AKC Shih Tzu puppies.
In 1969 I made a decision to purchase my first precious little angel, Sassy. This was my introduction to the Shih Tzu breed. Since that time, we have had at least one and usually more than one of these sweet angels to bring joy and happiness into our home.
After a long career in public education, I realized I wanted to do something different. The pair of angels that I had at that time, Gidget and Ryder, surprised us with a beautiful litter of 5 little puppies. It was then that I knew what I wanted to do. After a few years of looking into the possibility of becoming a breeder,
including studying all I could find to determine what was involved, I made the decision to move forward slowly and carefully.
Even though there are many available puppies from which to choose, I slowly proceeded to carefully choose those that were healthy with good dispositions, great color, and conformity to breed standards. They are the light of my life and my family's. They live in our home with us. My goal is to share this joy that we have found with others.
